BIB provides onsite medical services with the goal of improving the health and well being of patients of all ages, with a focus on adolescent, young adult, and adult medicine. We specialize in the evaluation, management, and treatment of physical and psychological issues related to body image and eating disorders, including anxiety, depression, and mood disturbances.
Stephanie Strozuk, MD
Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine
Dr. Strozuk has spent her medical career dedicated to the health and wellbeing of adolescents and young adults. After graduating from New York University and St. George’s University School of Medicine, she completed her Pediatric residency at Maimonides Medical Center and her Adolescent Medicine fellowship at Schneider Children’s Hospital in the North Shore – LIJ Health System. Dr. Strozuk is board certified in both Pediatrics and Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine. She has also obtained additional training through the Institute for Functional Medicine. This unique combination in training allows Dr. Strozuk to practice a truly integrative approach to medical care where true healing is the ultimate goal rather than suppression of symptoms.
She has held academic positions at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and at Rutger’s – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. In her 15 years of practice, she has trained medical students, pediatric residents, and adolescent medicine fellows. Most recently, she practiced college health at Rutger’s University before starting her private practice.
