Myofascial Release and Emotional Freedom Techniques
The mind and the body are not separate. What effects one inevitably effects the other! Using a dual approach to wellness, working with mind and body together can accelerate well-being and open one up to make positive changes at a great pace. Many have experienced amazing results. Some testimonials are shared below.
Myofascial Release (MFR): One-hour client session $120
Myofascial Release (MFR) The John Barnes Approach is a form of bodywork that addresses our mind/body complex. For decades, MFR has been highly effective in helping those suffering with illness and injury. It also is highly beneficial for those who are interested in overcoming obstacles and increasing insight. It is often used to help relieve physical pain in the body. It also can serve to give a voice to old emotions and patterns that keep us stuck and/or prevent us from soaring. It can restore energy, balance, and stability. It can help the body/mind to process old traumas and or accidents in order to free us from the bonds of the past.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) (also referred to as “tapping”): One-hour client session $120
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT | “tapping”) works by stimulating acupressure points while simultaneously talking, thinking, or using imagery around a subject of distress. Once the body’s stress indicators are cleared, our perception changes, and we can move forward with greater clarity and insight. This is a very flexible practical portable way to release stress and unhappy feelings in our day to day lives. We can ‘tap’ on mental, physical, and emotional pain, relationship problems, health issues, business matters, feelings of anxiety, panic, depression, and so much more.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) for Recovery Class: Wednesdays, 5pm – 6pm: $20 | class package
Recovery is not just about abstaining from unhealthy habits and addictions, it’s also about creating healthy habits and finding beneficial ways to release stress.
Most individuals feel stress in one or more areas of life. Relationships, work, health, spirituality, and finances commonly contribute to stress. Regardless of the cause, stress has serious effects on the body and reducing it can lead to a healthier happier experience of life, as well as less interest in unhealthy behaviors.
Participants will learn and use EFT to destress and to gain new perspectives and insights.
EFT is an energy modality that uses acupressure points to tap into areas of emotional distress. It is easy to learn and use. This class is suitable for beginners and those with no prior knowledge of EFT as well as those who know EFT and would like to benefit from the group dynamic.
“Thank you for everything also. This body is grateful for the time I allowed it to rest this past week. All the physical challenges that would have thrown me into a depression and stricken me with self loathing and despair did the opposite. I know I say this a lot and yet it feels like I can’t possibly say it enough, you have changed my vision of myself on so many levels. You have helped me heal me so much. I can never thank you enough. You are a great healer.”
“When I read the description of EFT in a brochure, I thought that it sounded like exactly what I needed to help me out of my funk. It was amazing! After just one session, I slept all night for the first time in months! I tapped every night on my own in between sessions at the yoga center and was thrilled to discover that day by day I felt a little less anxious and a whole lot happier. I found myself thinking more about the things that I could affect in a positive way and moving away from dwelling on those that were negative and emotionally burdensome. The physical act of tapping (a kind of psychological acupressure) and the brilliance of Gina who is able to weave the group members’ concerns into a calming, yet powerfully affirmative narrative create a wonderful, relaxing environment. I will be a regular at EFT. Thank you.”
“Every time I have an EFT session with Gina, I gain great insights into my life. Each time, a new door opens up and I can continue on my journey with new direction and more understanding than before. The tapping is simple, straight-forward, and very powerful. On top of that, Gina is a wonderful light in this world and has a lot to offer!”
