Melanie Struble, LCSW, LCADC
Melanie, co-founder of the Body Image Boutique, is a psychotherapist whose practice is dedicated to working with adolescents, adults, and families who are dealing with eating disorders, body image, substance addiction, and adolescent issues. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with more than 23 years of direct practice experience, she holds the highest New Jersey licensure in both disciplines.
Over the years, Melanie has worked with clients in a variety of settings: hospital, crisis center, private non-profit agency, and private practice. She has gained a broad perspective and deep understanding of the challenges her clients face when seeking specialized services from multiple resources. The Body Image Boutique was born of the realization that having a variety of services under one roof – and providing a strong sense of community – would support clients in achieving greater overall health, recovery, and long-term growth.
Melanie holds a Masters of Social Work from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology and Law and Justice from The College of New Jersey.
Wendy Coffey, MSW, LCSW
Wendy Coffey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. Her background is in family systems therapy. Having been trained in crisis intervention, she is familiar with family dynamics and how they affect the individual. Wendy has worked with adults, adolescents and children who present with anxiety, depression and time of life stressors. She believes in a holistic approach to treatment, which includes the integration of environment, body and mind. In her role as the town Board of Health Vice President she has been instrumental in bringing wellness programs to her community and is active in her town environmental programming as well as being a leader in the current Stigma free initiative. She spends her free time hiking, reading and training for half marathons and triathlons.
BIB provides onsite medical services with the goal of improving the health and well being of patients of all ages, with a focus on adolescent, young adult, and adult medicine.
We specialize in the evaluation, management, and treatment of physical and psychological issues related to body image and eating disorders, including anxiety, depression, and mood disturbances.
Stephanie Strozuk, MD
Adolescent & Adult Medicine
Dr. Strozuk is dedicated to the health and well being of adolescents and adults. After graduating from New York University and St. George’s University School of Medicine, she completed her Pediatric Residency at Maimonides Medical Center and her Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at Schneider Children’s Hospital in the North Shore-LIJ Health System.
Dr. Strozuk is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and has served as an Assistant Attending in the Department of Pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She also held academic positions at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. In her 15 years of practice, she has trained medical students, pediatric residents, and adolescent medicine fellows. Most recently she practiced College Health at Rutgers University before starting her private practice.
