Yoga for Every Body
If you can breathe, you can do yoga! In our culture, there is a misperception that yoga is all about fancy poses. Like doing a one-handed handstand or twisting your body into a pretzel.
In reality, the physical practice of yoga (asana) is only a fraction of the practice of yoga. Being a yogi means knowing how to listen to, respect, and honor your body. Our yoga classes emphasize hearing your body’s “voice.” Everyone has a different body, so every yoga student needs to approach asanas differently. There is no universal “right” way to do a pose, and no judgment. You can go into a restful pose at any point during the practice if that’s what your body needs.
We teach every student to “stay on their own mats” and not compare themselves with others, or what they “used to” be able to do.
Classes are ALL Level unless otherwise noted and options will be provided based on individual needs. Use of props is encouraged. Not sure where to begin? Let’s chat!

YIN Yoga for YOUR Body: Having a balance of Yin and Yang in our bodies is key to having a healthy body image. Our culture tends to focus on more “Yang” activities and how these activities make us look in the outside. In this class, we go deep into the body and hold poses that target the connective tissues, bones, ligaments and joints…parts deep in our bodies that are not stretched or exercised in more active yoga classes and sports. If these areas are not worked, they become dehydrated and lose their elasticity. This practice will hydrate and stretch these areas beyond the muscles and help our bodies feel great from the inside out. Appropriate for ALL levels…plenty of options will be given.
Meditation is a life-transforming skill that can help improve your overall well-being by developing inner peace, compassion, and understanding. During this 45-minute class, you will explore using basic mediation techniques to cultivate greater awareness, become more focused and attentive, and be better able to handle life’s ups and downs.
Bellydance Secrets from Behind the Veil is a body of work that is infused with WiseWoman Traditional wisdoms, Romani Magic and Sisterhood Connection. This is more than a class to learn dance choreography, this is body INPowerment: learn to shimmy, activate and integrate the body, mind and spirit.
This playful class encourages self-expression as well as building social skills. Children will strengthen their bodies, sharpen their focus through breathing and relaxation techniques, and sing, draw, and play in this energy-releasing class.
Children will learn breathing and visualization techniques to improve focus as they increase strength, flexibility, and coordination. They will also practice self-respect and respect for others through fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses, and yoga games.
These classes promote self-confidence & awareness, while helping to build strength and flexibility with physically challenging postures & flowing sequences. Visualization and breathing exercises for balance and concentration can be applied to everyday situations.
